Justin Bieber's illegal tattooing could cost parlour $2,000 fine

Justin Bieber's illegal tattooing could cost parlour $2,000 fine

Justin Bieber has found himself in the middle of another controversy as it emerged a tattoo parlour could face a $2,000 fine after the singer illegally inked the owner’s leg.

Bieber tattooed a muscular mouse onto the leg of his friend and parlour owner Keith “Bang Bang” McCurdy last June.
McCurdy’s parlour in Manhattan’s Lower East Side could now face a $2,000 fine as New York law insists all tattoo artists must carry a licence.
The New York Health department previously reprimanded the parlour when Rihanna tattooed an umbrella and the letter “R” onto the owner’s arm in 2009. Katy Perry and Chris Brown have both also inked the celebrity tattoo artist.
Footage of the Bieber tattooing McCurdy’s leg circulated online this week.
Bieber is not liable for the fine, but the incident comes in a line of recent controversies. The singer caused outrage among fans last month in London when he arrived late to perform on stage at the O2, and was later filmed attacking a cameraman when leaving his hotel.
Earlier this week German officials gave the singer four weeks to claim his pet monkey Mally from an animal sanctuary, after she was seized from Bieber on arrival to the country because he did not have the correct documentation for his pet.
